In response to a growning community need for reliable, locally-based fireplace
maintenance and repair, Rick Stapel founded Hearth & Home on
Whidbey Island in 1994 after many years working and installing in the industry.
Over time, client needs for updated equipment also increased, so Rick expanded his company to include new sales of stoves, inserts and fireplaces along with complete installation and permiting. With a reputation for safe and reliable service, Hearth & Home grew rapidly over the years, and eventually Rick's wife Debi joined the team to oversee daily operations.

Today with help from a great staff and loyal customers we have managed to grow beyond our wildest imagination. Our experience, together with our pride and work ethic, enables us to provide superior service to our customers on Whidbey Island.
