Hearth & Home was formed in 1994. After founder, Rick Stapel, found himself overwhelmed with a community demand for fireplace and hearth products services. Maintenance and repair was Hearth & Home's initial focus, but as more and more clients needs grew for new and updated equipment, the sales and installation branch of the company soon followed. Having already had many years experience with fireplace installation, Rick found himself once again stretched thin. So with demand high, and help short, Rick's wife Debi stepped in to help run the day to day operations.
Today, twelve years later, with help from a great staff and loyal customers we have managed to grow beyond our wildest imagination. Our experience, together with our pride and work ethic, enables us to provide superior service to our customers on Whidbey Island.
